RE: WW Repairs

Did they do anything with the tongue of the trailer? Thats where my buddy has had the biggest problem. Its tweaked and the front corners of the trailer have split open allowing water to get in. Thanks for the pics.

RE: WW Repairs

Yes, please post some pictures. I have a buddy with the same trailer and it looks like we will be doing the mods ourselves. Any pictures would be very very helpful. Thanks in advance !!!!!

RE: Weekend Warrior Warranty is Gone

Is this even legal to do? How can they not honor a warranty claim if you bought one of their trailers last year? If they are still in buisness I would think they would have to pay warranty claims or file bankruptcy.....It would be like buying a new car and next week finding out there was no more warranty. I have had problems since day one, and continue to have water leaks to the interior walls. My trailer is a 2008. I want it fixed, since nobody in their right mind would buy it knowing the company might end up in the crapper. I'm sure the value of these things has had a major decline.

RE: Weekend Warrior now only a 1 year warranty

I bought a 2008 WW FSC 3200 about 10 months ago. I have had several issues that I had to bring the hauler back to my dealer to get fixed. Two weeks ago I was supposed to bring my toy hauler in to have some other things fixed. I got a call from the service dept saying to give them a call before I bring in the hauler. Well I give them a call and find out they are no longer going to do warranty work for WW. It seems they are owed over $100,000 in past warranty work. They have not purchased any new models from WW and I now see they have been removed from WW dealer list. My dealer, Giant Recreation World in Winter Garden Florida is a pretty big dealer. They have locations in Daytona Beach and Melborne. This was a big seller for them, as the next closest dealer is in Ocala. I was curious if anyone else has had a problem getting warranty work done? I like the hauler, but I'm not going to drive 2 hrs to have it worked on. Is WW in trouble with these pending lawsuits? Not sure if I should dump it now. I'm afraid if they go out of buisness this thing will be worthless?

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200/bad converter/ what to do?

My truck was plugged in the whole time, I never unhooked. I guess it takes a while to charge the batteries when the truck is at idle? If I had the high idle option on my truck maybe that would have helped? I also have dual alternators on my truck. It was fully charged by the time I got home. Does the truck not send current to the trailer at idle? Thanks for all the help guys, I'm still a little confused now about what size converter to use? JRBURN had problems with a bigger unit?

2008 WW FSC 3200/bad converter/ what to do?

I have a 2008 WW FSC3200, on our last trip out we had the unfortunate pleasure of a failed converter. Lost all power to the toy-hauler. It was a mess since I couldn't get the beds raised back up so I could load the toys back in the trailer. Anyway, I took the hauler back to the dealer 3 weeks ago. I called last week to check on its status and they said everything was getting taken care of and not to worry I would have it for Easter weekend. Well I call today and they tell me that they still dont have the part from WW and that it may not get done for our trip :M Well, I explain that if I would have been told this last week I wouldn't have scheduled the time off from work ect, ect. I explain to the gentleman on the other end of the phone that whatever needs to be done to get my trailer fixed for our getaway better happen. I told him if I need to overnight the part, so be it.....He wasn't much help, just kept passing the buck as it wasn't his fault. I asked him what kind of converter do I need and is one better than the other. He told me that all travel trailers are 30 amp? So I asked him why mine had a 50 amp service? He didn't have an answer and said he would need to check on that and call me back. I give WW a call and spoke with Laura in parts who was very nice. She got in touch with my dealer and said she would overnight them the part. She called me back and asked me what converter I needed, she said she had 35, 40 and 55. I said send me the biggest one. I hope I was right? I have looked on e-bay and I have seen 75 amp converters. Is there any advantage to going to something bigger? Should I buy a spare? This is the one I was looking at, Iota DLS-75-IQ4 Power Converter It sells for $170.00. I just dont want to have a problem again. All we do is dry camp and having no power for the weekend is not any fun. Sorry for the long post, and thanks for the help !!!

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

Sorry, I have been busy as of late. I moved to the top hole. It gave me an additional 1.5 or so of additional lift. So far it seems fine, tows the same as it did before.

RE: I Had To Travel 40 Miles For ULSD Fuel Today

On the new Fords, We make a DPF delete pipe and sell a programmer that shuts off the DPF. This not only allows you to get better fuel economy, but also allows you to run any type of diesel. On my own truck, a new 2007.5 GMC 2500, I removed everything. No cats, No DPF. I put a 5 inch exhaust system on it. EFI live or HP tuners will get rid of the codes. Milage has improved greatly. I get 17-18 around town and if I keep it under 80mph, I can get 21-22 on the highway. Of course this is for off-road use only........

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

I was charged $130.00/axle to flip them. It gave me about 6" of lift. How does it tow now? The service guy was really trying hard to get me to try doing the shackle thing first. He said if I flipped the axles it would tow like crap? He said it would be all over the road. Thanks

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

i did that too mine first. had too get the trailor off the ground all the weight off springs. it takes some work too get the shackle bolts back in. its gonna take a FEW hours. How did you lift it? Did you put the trailer on blocks? I need to get the whole trailer off the ground? right? I would think this would be the time consuming part. If I got that far, it seems flipping the axles would be a piece of cake.

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

I took my hauler over to Giant today. The guy said he would move the mounting points on the spring hangers first. There are two different locator holes. He said if we moved the bolts to the bottom holes it would raise the trailer 1 1/2 to 2 inches. Should I try this first? He quoted me $450.00 just to do this? That seems very high to me. Anyone else have this done on their trailer? Thanks.............:@

RE: 2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

I have the 15" wheels and tires on it. I didn't order it, it was one my dealer had. If I were to order one I would have bought the 16" wheels and the axles already flipped.

2008 WW FSC 3200 cost to flip axles?

I have a 2008 Weekend Warrior FSC 3200. I need to have the axles flipped. I have drug the trailer over too many things and I am eventually going to rip something off. Here are my questions: 1.What is the typical cost to have three axles flipped? 2.Is there some sort of hardware kit that is needed and what does it cost? 3.My dealer who has been in the Central Florida area for over 25 years, claims to have never done this. Should I be scared or is it a straight forward type of deal? Is there anything they could really screw up? Thanks in advance, I'm supposed to drop my trailer off tomorrow. :h
